Job Summary

Become a Retail Personal Banker I through a 4–8 week onboarding and certification program with rotations across operations and Sales & Service. Use a consultative sales approach and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, cross-sell retail consumer and small business products, and set appointments using approved marketing tools. Process teller transactions, partner with mortgage and business specialists, support CSRs’ referral process, and help drive customer experience and revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, leading to Retail Personal Banker I certification.
•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to identify customers’ current and future financial needs.
•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions using the company value proposition.
•Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Process teller transactions and support customer experience and team production goals, including cross-selling and outside sales/community activities as directed.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills (or a combination of education and experience).
•Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Demonstrated understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration required at time of employment through NMLS (MU4R questions/registration via NMLS).
