Job Summary

Lead cradle-to-grave contract management for the JPALS program within the Collins Mission Systems Strategic Business Unit. Own proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and closeout as the Contracts lead for a new US Navy Cost Plus Incentive Fee award. Manage contractual scope and terms, resolve complex contractual issues, coordinate invoicing fulfillment, and partner with Program Management, General Counsel, and cross-functional peers for reviews, risk activities, and contractual matters.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as Contracts lead for cradle-to-grave contract management including proposal preparation, negotiation, administration, and closeout for the JPALS program.
•Manage contractual scope and terms and conditions to ensure work aligns with contract scope, company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
•Partner with cross-functional teams on RFP analysis, proposal development and reviews, negotiation, contract implementation, and contract administration.
•Investigate and resolve complex contractual matters using critical thinking, detailed information gathering, creative contracting techniques, and coordination with stakeholders.
•Provide strategic advice on contractual rights/obligations, regulations, and policies to mitigate risks and prevent unauthorized changes.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a university degree and minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and minimum 5 years of experience.
•Must have or be capable of obtaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance; active and existing clearance required after day 1.
•Experience with U.S. Government fixed price and cost type contracts under FAR and DFARS.
•Experience as a Contracts Lead and/or leading contracts negotiations with customers.
•Experience with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) process.
