Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide support for administration activities for Hexagon S3D projects, including setting up projects and managing day-to-day administration.
  • •Create and customize S3D catalogs for piping, electrical, instrumentation, and structure, including piping rules and symbol creation.
  • •Perform isometric customization including creation of labels.
  • •Create view styles and generate reports using S3D interfaces, class relationships, and COM.
  • •Develop custom commands using C# and VB.Net, configure GWC, manage setup activities (database restoration, permissions, system hierarchy), and troubleshoot designer/modeling issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • •5–15 years’ experience in S3D administration with understanding of engineering practices and project execution concepts.
  • •In-depth understanding of Aveva 3D or other Smartplant tool(s) and ability to conduct functional testing of the application.
  • •Good communication skills and working knowledge of business units/processes supported by the application.
  • •Ability to conduct modeling and troubleshoot designer issues while developing best practices for modeling.
