Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate, plan, and supervise grading crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • •Operate equipment to perform rough grade, finish grade, slope work, and other excavating operations.
  • •Inspect equipment prior to use and at the end of each shift.
  • •Inform the Superintendent of construction needs (materials, equipment, staffing) promptly to avoid delays.
  • •Inspect grading work throughout the construction process to ensure it meets specifications.

Key Requirements

  • •3-5 years of experience in finish or fine grade operation with an excavator, motor grader, or related experience and training.

  • •Ability to understand grade stakes and read/understand project plans and specifications.
  • •Valid driver’s license required.
  • •Maintain good attendance and safety record while being reliable and productive each shift.
