Location: Taipei
Workplace: Onsite
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Hardware, Embedded & Systems Engineering
Seniority: Mid level

Key Responsibilities

  • •Bring up high-speed memory interfaces (GDDR, LPDDR, HBM) from first power-on through full PVT characterization and productization for GPU, CPU, and SoC programs.
  • •Own functional validation, IO tuning, timing margin analysis, and multi-vendor DRAM qualification across capacities, speeds, and shipped configurations.
  • •Lead root-cause closure on the hardest multi-team memory failures spanning silicon, controller, PHY, package, board SI/PI, firmware, and workload, delivering reusable workarounds and productized fixes.
  • •Design and deploy AI-enabled workflows for margin data analysis, shmoo bucketing, failure signature detection, and correlating workload vs. margin to gate qualification decisions.
  • •Partner with pre-Si architecture, design, and DV teams to translate new memory features into post-Si validation plans and feed learnings back into pre-Si methodology.

Pay and Benefits

Perks:Flexible Time

Key Requirements

  • •B.Tech or M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent) and 4+ years in the semiconductor industry.
  • •At least 3 years directly on memory interface bring-up, characterization, and qualification on shipped silicon.
  • •Deep understanding of GDDR, LPDDR, or HBM including training, calibration, IO tuning, timing margin, and vendor-to-vendor behavior differences; demonstrate root-cause closure leading to a productized fix.
  • •Strong hands-on lab fundamentals including oscilloscope, DMM, thermal chambers, and protocol analyzers, plus practical knowledge of PCB stack-up and SI/PI guidelines.
  • •Demonstrated AI-driven workflows for memory characterization, margin analysis, or failure triage with measurable impact (e.g., debug velocity, coverage, escape rate).
