Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair mechanical, electrical, brake/cooling, steering, HVAC, and related truck equipment using test instruments.
  • •Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and confirm proper operation.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory and maintain the company-issued service vehicle, including safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • •Document work on repair orders (RO), upload photos and findings via the company iOS device/TRAIT application, and accurately complete DOT forms and other documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED with 3 years of related experience (or alternative equivalent education/certification and experience).
  • •Supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required duties.
  • •Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within eighteen (18) months.
  • •Be able to successfully complete and pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical prior to employment.
  • •Hold a valid state-of-residence driver’s license and a Class C Driver’s License (21+ years or older required).
