Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the full career lifecycle of direct reports: onboarding, feedback, performance assessment, progression, and hiring.
  • •Set SRE goals and steer support rotation and on-call model to balance operational load and project delivery.
  • •Own Remote’s core platform reliability practices across Kubernetes, AWS, PostgreSQL, DNS/TLS, CI infrastructure, and the observability stack.
  • •Partner with Security on threats, patching, and infrastructure controls, including audit and compliance obligations.
  • •Be the spokesperson for the team across engineering and senior leadership, staying close enough to technical work to set direction and anticipate escalations.
