Key Responsibilities

  • •Interpret and define new equipment applications in consultation with plant and field sales engineers.
  • •Develop complex drawings and bills of materials and coordinate mechanical/electrical interfaces with other products.
  • •Advise Drafting/Design, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to support accurate production to purchaser requirements.
  • •Manage purchaser onsite visits to approve or release equipment for shipping; manage manufacturing and engineering change notices.
  • •Apply design automation tools, consult quality on post-shipment issues, and conduct complex development/application projects plus training guidance and seminars.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or currently enrolled with expected graduation before July 2027).
  • •Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8.
  • •At least one internship or co-op experience or an equivalent of 3 months of related experience.
  • •Geographical flexibility to relocate within the United States to an Eaton facility (Asheville, Fayetteville, Sumter, Greenwood, or El Paso).
  • •Strong analytical and computer skills to learn required design/engineering software.
