Key Responsibilities

  • •Induct bags onto the Baggage System and help ensure smooth system operation.
  • •Attend to jams immediately, remove items causing jams, and make sure the system isn’t damaged.
  • •Monitor and clear blockages that prevent baggage flow; manually scan and encode bags at the station.
  • •Remove out-of-gauge bags and prevent bags from causing system issues.
  • •Clean equipment, replenish tub supplies, define/report damaged tubs, and assist technicians with repairs.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •0-2 years of work experience in baggage handling systems and/or automated systems in material handling industries operations and maintenance.
  • •Ability to work rotating shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • •Must be able to obtain and maintain airport security clearance.
  • •Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, kneel, and bend for long periods.
