Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, administer, and support enterprise backup and recovery platforms; monitor backup environments to ensure backup/restore/replication success.
  • •Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and manage backup-related problem resolution activities.
  • •Lead backup platform upgrades, migrations, patching, and lifecycle management; recommend improvements to backup architecture and data protection strategy.
  • •Perform capacity planning and performance optimization by monitoring storage utilization and growth trends, and optimizing backup windows and recovery times.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • •8+ years of experience supporting enterprise backup environments.
  • •Strong expertise in Rubrik, Dell EMC Data Domain, Avamar, Dell EMC NetWorker, and Infinidat InfiniBox.
  • •Experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical backup infrastructures and backup/recovery/replication/disaster recovery concepts.
