Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, selling and delivering retail banking products and services.
  • •Establish and update client understanding of financial needs using personal financial planning analysis; coordinate with investment advisors on investment accounts to meet objectives and policies.
  • •Stay current on economic, legal, financial planning, and investment trends, serving as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients and their CPAs.
  • •Meet revenue growth, profitability, and retention goals by developing new clients and expanding services; follow the sales management process and maintain sales activity/pipeline data.
  • •Coordinate with Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) partners to ensure an integrated, seamless approach to developing and servicing the client portfolio while advocating for clients with specialists.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business, accounting, finance, banking or equivalent financial services experience.
  • •Minimum of five years of financial services experience working with clients involving banking, investments, and/or retail lending (or one year in a financial client relationship manager role).
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory/insurance and investment management/asset allocation concepts for the mass affluent market.
  • •Minimum active Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), FINRA Series 7, and 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66) plus applicable Insurance licenses (Life, Health, and Variable), with requirements to maintain/obtain within stated timelines.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, and relationship management skills, plus strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
