Location: Japan
Workplace: Onsite
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Design (Product/UX/UI/Visual)

Key Responsibilities

  • •Optimize front-end equipment physical/electrical characteristics and parameters to improve quality, yield, productivity, and reduce manufacturing costs.
  • •Establish technology specifications for next-generation semiconductor products/processes (e.g., GaN), including evaluating and setting technical conditions for new process realization.
  • •Design evaluation and verification processes for new tool introduction or equipment improvement, including experimental work, analysis, and validation for mass-production transition.
  • •Lead data-driven predictive maintenance and anomaly detection using SPC and data analytics to assess equipment/process impact and improve stable high-yield production.
  • •Collaborate across process, manufacturing, design, quality, and materials teams to drive mass-production stability and new technology introduction; advance smart-factory automation (AI/data analytics, real-time sensor data, and transport robot implementation).

Key Requirements

  • •Semiconductor manufacturing equipment (front-end) hands-on experience, including equipment management, maintenance, or troubleshooting.
  • •Basic knowledge of data-driven problem solving, including Statistical Process Control (SPC) and logical issue resolution using data.
  • •Ability to independently drive projects end-to-end: issue extraction, hypothesis development, experiment planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • •Deep technical knowledge in equipment areas such as Diffusion, Implant, Photo, Etch, CVD, or PVD (preferred).
  • •Experience improving or ramping mass-production equipment or evaluating and introducing new equipment (preferred).
