Job Summary

Lead the team delivering technology risk and control governance across HSBC’s CTO, translating risk priorities into measurable plans and clear ownership. Drive evidence-based governance packs and senior-manager reporting, oversee adherence to control frameworks and operational resilience activities, and coordinate internal and external audit readiness through to remediation tracking. Manage complex cross-functional control issues using project disciplines and build stakeholder relationships that drive continuous improvement.

•Lead delivery of risk and control management meeting materials and governance packs with evidence-based, decision-focused outputs aligned to risk appetite.
•Oversee adherence to risk and control frameworks, issue management, control management, read-across activity, and operational resilience vulnerability management.
•Oversee governance papers and regulatory/board responses, including group risk updates, second-line review inputs, and senior stakeholder materials.
•Coordinate internal and external audit activity and lead management responses and remediation tracking to closure readiness.
