Key Responsibilities

  • •Create new orders in the Laboratory Inventory Management System (LIMS) and perform required checks to ensure proper accessioning.
  • •Accession samples with high accuracy and efficiency and accurately enter patient data into LIMS.
  • •Ensure LIMS information is up to date and scan test requisition forms/paperwork, verifying documents belong to the correct patient and uploading to case.
  • •Protect patient health information (PHI) in paper and electronic forms in compliance with HIPAA and privacy policies.
  • •Handle samples and related tools safely; maintain workstation tidiness and follow SOPs and quality standards.
