Job Summary

Manage the end-to-end appraisal workflow for mortgage loan files, from validating property data and placing appraisal orders through report review, updates, and compliance tracking. Coordinate with third-party appraisal management companies to ensure timely ordering and follow-through, handle desk reviews and reconsideration of value requests, update Encompass data, and maintain required service levels and turnaround timelines.

Key Responsibilities

•Validate property data in the system before placing appraisal orders by reviewing property addresses through Real Quest and Zillow sites.
•Place appraisal orders via the integration platform and review/upload appraisal reports based on loan product and program requirements, including desk reviews when warranted.
•Coordinate with third-party AMCs to ensure appraisal reports are ordered correctly, progressing on time and followed up consistently.
•Update Encompass data as needed after receiving appraisals, including tracking receipt dates to meet compliance requirements.
•Process corrections/revisions after underwriting review and manage appraisal transfers, ROVs, and report delivery using Blend or UPS when e-consent is not present.
