Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver quality antenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team according to clinical standards and legislation.
  • •Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing, and managing risks in line with clinical risk policies and procedures.
  • •Set priorities and plan patient care to ensure adherence to nursing standards and timely, organized completion of care.
  • •Provide comprehensive direct and indirect care tailored to cultural, spiritual, age, psychosocial, communication, gender, sexual orientation, economic, education, family, and condition needs.
  • •Maintain accurate records, apply quality assurance and risk management measures, and uphold confidentiality of patient information.

Key Requirements

  • •3 years of clinical experience as a midwife after completing the midwifery program and registration/licensing as a registered midwife (overseas candidates).
  • •1+ year in GCC (preferred).
  • •Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field.
  • •Current midwifery/obstetric nursing knowledge and ability to recognize and apply basic pathophysiology in the nursing process.
  • •Knowledge of infection control, pain management, and wound care practices and standards, with strong decision-making and critical thinking.
