Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to the design of structures from inception to completion for bridge and structures projects.
  • •Undertake assessment of existing structures across stages, including on-site inspection and analysis.
  • •Use industry computer software to support structural design, bridge assessment, and finite element analysis.
  • •Assist with structural inspections, structures renewal feasibility studies, and on-site works supervision.
  • •Support scheme management activities by contributing to resources, tasks, and delivery of results.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 classification (or equivalent) or above.
  • •Ability to demonstrate a strong technical understanding of Civil & Structural Engineering.
  • •Demonstrable interest in Bridge Structures Engineering and developing a career in the industry.
  • •Willingness to work towards chartership with ICE or IStructE.
  • •Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and effective communication in writing and verbally.
