Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate grain bagging machines during harvest season and grain bag extractors during off harvest season.
  • •Bag corn, wheat, and soybeans in a timely, cost-efficient manner.
  • •Reclaim corn, wheat, and soybeans when procurement and mill need bushels.
  • •Perform quality control on bagged bushels and help manage shrinkage accountability.
  • •Operate equipment safely and perform preventive maintenance; comply with environmental laws and Smithfield policies (EMS, IPS, Animal Well Being).

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 25 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required.
  • •Able to operate a tractor, auger, and conveyor.
  • •Agriculture or mechanical experience preferred.
  • •Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodation.
  • •Occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
