Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and conduct independent engineering work involving evaluation, selection, and adaptation of structural techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • •Prepare or modify structural drawings, specifications, calculations, charts, and graphs, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and accepted engineering practices.
  • •Review design criteria and analyze structural elements for adequacy under loads, geotechnical properties, wind/seismic/fire protection inputs, and loading plans.
  • •Prepare shop drawings and technical packages, and review tender DWGs versus IFC DWGs, reporting changes to the technical manager for commercial purposes.
  • •Support HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution aligned with company and IMS policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8 years of working experience, with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • •Extensive structural knowledge for buildings, heavy civils, and infrastructure works.
  • •Experience preparing reports, designs, and drawings, and reviewing structural problems/anomalies to recommend rectifications.
  • •Ability to liaise confidently with clients and coordinate safe structural solutions with architectural and MEP requirements.
  • •ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills.
