Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design and architecture of scalable full-stack solutions aligned with product requirements.
  • •Own the architecture of core subscription and membership systems, including billing correctness, lifecycle state management, plan changes, cancellations, and workflow orchestration across commerce, pharmacy, and fulfillment.
  • •Partner closely with engineering teams across commerce, clinical care, pharmacy, and fulfillment to drive cross-functional technical initiatives and scale platform decisions.
  • •Mentor engineers on best practices, design patterns, and coding standards; advocate for team technical needs.
  • •Implement tools and processes for monitoring, incident response, and performance optimization, and use analytics/monitoring to improve activation and reactivation KPIs.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a Staff Engineer or equivalent senior technical leadership role.
  • •Proven experience building platform infrastructure driving patient retention, engagement, and satisfaction, preferably in AWS.
  • •Proficiency in back-end technologies: Spring, Java, Kotlin, and PostgreSQL.
  • •Experience with workflows (Temporal), monitoring (Datadog), experimentation (Growthbook, Optimizely), and CI/CD (CircleCI, GitHub actions).
  • •Knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (React, React Native, NextJS, GraphQL, TypeScript).
