Job Summary

We are hiring multiple levels of Traffic Engineers and Designers to join our Southern US team. You’ll work on large highway transportation projects, perform signing/pavement marking and traffic signal design, and use Bentley Microstation/Open Roads in a hybrid work setting across Columbia, SC region.

•Support traffic engineering design on highway projects across the Southeast
•Prepare signing and pavement marking designs and traffic signal designs
•Participate in signing/pavement marking design for complex interchanges
•Collaborate with project teams on Design/Build or Alternative Delivery projects
•Leverage Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads to develop and finalize plans

Key Requirements

•CAD Designers: BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•Junior Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•Mid-Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads: BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•Preferred Qualifications: EIT Certification or PE License; State DOT experience; Knowledge and prior use of the AASHTO Green Book and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices
