Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate and improve a robust, cross-functional SIOP process to align demand forecasts, production capabilities, and inventory strategies.
  • •Oversee daily MRP activities, master production schedules, and cost center scheduling to ensure feasible production plans based on capacity, inventory, and customer requirements.
  • •Ensure ERP/MRP data integrity, monitor inventory levels, set stock targets, and develop strategies to manage obsolete inventory.
  • •Mentor and lead Planning & Material Analysts plus a Shipping/Receiving/Stores Supervisor; conduct performance reviews and identify training needs.
  • •Establish and monitor KPIs (schedule adherence, on-time delivery, inventory status) and ensure planning/procurement activities comply with defense regulations (ITAR, FAR/DFAR) and ISO9001/AS9100 standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree/diploma in Manufacturing, Operations, or Supply Chain Management (related fields preferred) and 8+ years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment, with 3+ years in a leadership/supervisory role.
  • •Strong working knowledge of SIOP processes and methodologies.
  • •Deep understanding of MRP functionality and experience with major ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor); Infor LN is an asset.
  • •Proficient in data analysis with advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
  • •Eligibility for clearance with the Controlled Goods Program and Government of Canada security clearance is required.
