Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead cross-functional efforts to keep the program’s power and thermal productization strategy clear, executable, and on track.
  • •Create methodology and silicon test plans based on controller designs and architecture, including characterization process, debug tools, and fuse/firmware settings with lab requirements.
  • •Drive resolution for challenging silicon issues using structured hypotheses, measurement plans, and root-cause closure.
  • •Steward and extend the Power and Thermal playbook by creating new mitigations and reusable methods when existing methodology doesn’t fit.
  • •Build AI-enabled workflows to automate data analysis, metric extraction, trend checks, and report generation across multiple bringups.

Key Requirements

  • •BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • •8+ years of post-silicon bring-up and validation experience for power and thermal features on sophisticated ASIC/SoC programs.
  • •Strong end-to-end understanding of silicon behavior across architecture, firmware, validation, and platform interactions in power/thermal domains.
  • •Experience creating or improving characterization docs, debug tools, dashboards, or other technical artifacts.
  • •Proven ability to make sound tradeoffs across power, thermal, performance, firmware, design, validation, and schedule constraints, including AI-enabled workflow building for characterization/validation.
