Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide rich synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students.
  • •Differentiate instruction based on student mastery and personalize learning for all students.
  • •Monitor student progress in Stride K12’s learning management system and maintain grade books to ensure academic integrity.
  • •Communicate regularly with students and families/learning coaches and provide timely support and troubleshooting in a virtual classroom environment.
  • •Prepare students for high-stakes standardized tests and travel occasionally for testing and professional development.

Salary: USD 46,000 - 50,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and an active state teaching license.
  • •Ability to clear required background check.
  • •If certification is from another state, obtain Indiana reciprocity within 60 days of employment.
  • •Be able to work 40+ hours per week from a professional home office (typically 9-5 or as defined by the school).
  • •Preferred: experience teaching in online (virtual) and/or brick-and-mortar environments and supporting technology use for adults and children.
