Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •5+ years of bridge and other transportation structures design experience, including Caltrans delivery and California/West Coast agencies.
  • •Experience with Caltrans and AASHTO bridge design practices, techniques, and applicable codes.
  • •Proficiency with structural design and calculation tools/software (e.g., MicroStation, LEAP Concrete/Bridge, PTC MathCAD, CSiBridge, MIDAS Civil) and CAD software.
  • •A current PE license in the State of CA.
