Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in research and development of next-generation product differentiation features with ML/AI engineers.
  • •Analyze and implement changes to algorithms to improve AI performance and user experiences.
  • •Work on machine learning techniques for applications including source code analysis and image corruption detection.
  • •Research, develop, and deploy machine learning-based and computer vision products for current and future AMD products.
  • •Support AI software teams with roadmap planning, collateral development, and customer engagements.

Salary: CAD 67,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Currently enrolled in a Canada-based university in a Bachelor’s degree program majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science/Analytics, or related field, preferably in your 3rd or 4th year.
  • •Knowledge/experience in machine learning, data science, computer vision, statistics, and mathematics.
  • •Programming experience in Python and C/C++.
  • •Experience with relational (SQL) and no-SQL databases.
  • •Familiarity with ML algorithms/frameworks and deep learning/AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Caffe; cloud familiarity (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
