Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the principal technical investigator on complex business cases using microeconomic modeling, econometric estimation, and cost-benefit analysis.
  • •Build investment and business models (market sizing/segmentation, discounted cash flow) to compute metrics such as revenue, EBITDA, NPV, IRR, and CAGR.
  • •Use analytical and data visualization tools (e.g., ArcGIS, Costar, IMPLAN, REMI, Python, Tableau) to derive insights from client and third-party datasets.
  • •Conduct stakeholder interviews, including C-suite and senior management stakeholders.
  • •Oversee analytical tasks for junior team members and produce executive-ready decks and written narratives to drive buy-in.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Public Policy, Finance, or a quantitatively related field, plus 4 years of professional economist/quantitatively inclined management consulting experience (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of management consulting or equivalent experience.
  • •Experience in microeconomic modeling and econometrics with strong numerical reasoning and quantitative business acumen.
  • •Experience with funding and financing strategies, including value capture, plus economic and fiscal impact analysis.
  • •Experience evaluating financial cashflows for public finance and financial modeling to determine feasibility of infrastructure investments.
  • •Experience in economic and fiscal impact analysis and ability to conduct complex analyses for client business cases.
