Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and operate drilling, milling, edge breaking, burring, and related equipment to produce rough and finish dimensions on gear and shaft parts.
  • •Perform operations including burr, polish, finish, and blend surfaces, adjusting stops/cams to hold close tolerances.
  • •Mount and align jigs/fixtures and select speeds/feeds using engineering layouts; use in-process gaging to control size.
  • •Read and interpret moderately complicated blueprints and execute quality checks using mechanical and electronic gages while maintaining ANSI Y14-5 documentation.
  • •Maintain lot control (QCP 6.0), record keeping (logbooks, NCR/QCP 11.0), chart/plot SPC data, perform minor maintenance, and keep equipment/work area clean.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 29.86 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • •Reside within a 50-mile radius of Euclid, Ohio; no relocation benefit is provided (active duty military exempt).
  • •Minimum two (2) years of machining (non-CNC acceptable).
  • •Minimum 2-year GD&T experience (Eaton Level 1 Advanced Training may be considered in lieu).
  • •Pass an Eaton vision test and become a Certified Operator.
