Job Summary

Lead end-to-end QA for web, mobile, API, mainframe, and database systems, driving modernization while maintaining stability in legacy environments. Own a forward-looking QA strategy, define quality KPIs/KRIs and processes, and shape test planning across functional, regression, integration, performance, compliance, and UAT. Partner with product, development, and operations teams, manage QA projects, and mentor SQA engineers while guiding test automation strategy and defect triage.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a hands-on QA leader across web, mobile, API, mainframe, and database systems to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.
•Define and execute a QA strategy supporting modernization (cloud migrations, mobile framework upgrades, re-platforming) while maintaining legacy stability.
•Establish and manage quality measurement processes (KPI/KRI, standards) and drive continuous improvement, including automation coverage and ROI metrics.
•Lead test planning and execution across functional, regression, integration, performance, compliance, and UAT phases.
•Serve as project lead on large complex projects, including planning/scheduling, documenting decisions, updating test plans/strategy, leading defect triage and root cause analysis, and supervising/mentoring SQA engineers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science/technology/engineering, information technology, or equivalent discipline.
•10+ years of progressive QA experience in enterprise-scale environments with hands-on testing involvement.
•5+ years in a QA management role, balancing leadership responsibilities with direct contribution.
•Strong experience across web, mainframe, API, and mobile testing, including devices and cloud-based test platforms.
•10+ years of experience with test planning/coordination, writing test cases/protocols, and using tools such as Jira, TestRail, and ALM (or equivalents).
