Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and their families.
  • •Assist service members in creating spending plans for extended absences.
  • •Develop and provide informational financial materials to service members and families.
  • •Coordinate and deliver Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle, including pre- and post-deployment topics.
  • •Conduct virtual counseling and manage duty to warn situations per DoD protocol, while collaborating with installation leadership and participating in training and quality improvement activities.

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree required (or an associate degree plus 4 years’ experience, or a high school diploma plus 6 years’ experience).
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English (bilingual English/Spanish if required by contract).
  • •Must be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation.
  • •Must have one of: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
