Job Summary

Join a hardware design team to design, implement, and verify electro-optical circuit boards for cutting-edge networking platforms. You will test complex electro-optical packs, perform DC to 100s GHz measurements, review high-speed and analog circuits, document test plans, and design test jigs using Cadence Allegro ECAD in a collaborative, onsite lab environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Test and verify complex electro-optical circuit packs.
•Utilize lab to conduct electrical and optical measurements from DC to hundreds of GHz.
•Review and test high-speed, digital, analog control, and DC-DC power circuits.
•Document test plans and reports and participate in cross-functional meetings with Signal Integrity, Mechanical, Thermal, Component, Optical, Test teams.
•Design test jig circuits using the Cadence Allegro ECAD Tool Suite.

Key Requirements

•Studying for degree in Electrical, Optical, Computer or Engineering Physics or similar.
•Will require work onsite 5 days a week in lab and office.
•An enthusiastic self starter curious, and motivated to solve problems crossing electronics optics and mechanical disciplines.
•Experience with hands on test and measurement equipment, automation scripts and test equipment.
•Knowledge of high-speed design and transmission line theory.
