Key Responsibilities

  • •Catch pullets, load into trailers for transport to the live haul bay, and place into modules.
  • •Rotate tasks for holding birds for vaccination and performing vaccination.
  • •Handle housing workflows: catch and scan wingbands, attach badges, place birds into pens/cages, and continue until all birds are housed.
  • •Use wire cutters and other tools to remove wing/leg bands and badges; catch spent hens, transport to live haul, perform toe/beak trimming, and euthanize and transport birds for disposal.
  • •Maintain equipment and perform farm crew duties as needed, including sanitation, operating equipment for litter removal, and performing mortality/trash disposal.

  • •Must have at least 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no additional job gaps greater than 6 months in the past 36 months (18 months if laid off or providing child/elder care).
