Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as Lead Architect driving the design and delivery of the Forge Cognition edge computing initiative.
  • •Define and own edge architecture patterns for distributed, resource-constrained, and disconnected/intermittently connected environments.
  • •Architect and operationalize workloads on Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) and other edge/cloud needs.
  • •Design, build, and scale Kubernetes-based deployments for edge and cloud (Azure, GCP, Alibaba).
  • •Build Ansible-based automation for provisioning and fleet operations; develop core services and integrations in Python.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience as an Edge/Cloud Architect designing systems for distributed/edge computing environments.
  • •Strong hands-on expertise with Ansible (playbooks, roles, automation at scale).
  • •Expert-level Python development skills.
  • •Deep, production-grade Kubernetes experience (cluster design, operators, networking, security, troubleshooting).
  • •Hands-on experience with Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) or comparable distributed cloud/edge platforms; practical IoT experience is required.
