Key Responsibilities

  • •Support development, implementation, and sustainment of product security requirements for Air Dominance and Phantom Works avionics systems/subsystems across the full lifecycle.
  • •Coordinate with partners and system-of-systems product security counterparts on security requirements, activities, artifacts, and solutions.
  • •Advise engineering stakeholders (systems, software, and hardware) using results of security analysis to develop secure architectures and designs.
  • •Establish and integrate standards and processes for product security engineering and meet program/certification requirements aligned to DoD/JSIG/RMF/NISPOM.
  • •Use risk engineering and analysis (criticality, adversity, threat analysis) to inform cyber survivability requirements and reduce risk via appropriate security controls and technology maturation activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree (or non-US equivalent) in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related field.
  • •1+ years of experience in avionics and/or aircraft computing systems.
  • •3+ years of experience identifying and assessing risks that may affect program success, including risk response strategies and control activities.
  • •3+ years of experience preparing technical documents for aircraft systems.
  • •Knowledge of cyber security incident response protocols, including identification, impact assessment, containment, remediation, evidence handling, and technical reporting.
