Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and oversee below-ground drainage inspection activities (soil, waste, stormwater, grease waste, and pumped drainage) to ensure compliance with shop drawings, client standards, and DM regulations.
  • •Conduct advanced inspections of pipe materials and installation details (uPVC, HDPE, ductile iron, GRP), including dimensions, gradients, invert levels, bedding classifications, and joint integrity.
  • •Inspect drainage penetrations and related systems through foundations and slabs, verifying waterproofing details, thrust blocks, and pipe restraint systems.
  • •Verify manhole construction and access provisions, and authorize or reject works at hold points based on workmanship quality and compliance.
  • •Ensure regulatory compliance and HSE enforcement, produce inspection summary reports, escalate critical defects, and support authority inspections with records and photographic evidence.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • •Minimum 8 years’ experience in plumbing and fire protection system design.
  • •Strong knowledge of local UAE/GCC codes and regulations for mechanical system design.
  • •Proficiency in design software like Revit and AutoCAD.
  • •Ability to lead inspection activities, review documentation, and ensure quality compliance before sign-off.
