Job Summary

Design, develop, code, and maintain scalable Java-based applications and RESTful API web services. Build and support web sites and API integrations, deploy code to servers, and develop front-end web frameworks using JavaScript, React, AJAX, jQuery, and AngularJS. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate applications with business systems, perform code reviews and unit testing, and remediate security vulnerabilities. Telecommuting is available up to 5 days per week.

•Ensure reliable delivery through code reviews and unit testing, and architect scalable solutions aligned to business needs.
•Support integrations, lead platform migration/server upgrades, resolve web issues, and remediate application vulnerabilities identified by security scans/tests.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, plus five years of progressive web development experience.
•5+ years designing, developing, coding, and maintaining scalable Java-based applications using Java SDK 7 and 8.
•5+ years building and supporting RESTful API web services.
•5+ years building and maintaining web sites and API integrations.
•5+ years building web frameworks using JavaScript, React, AJAX, jQuery, and AngularJS, plus experience with SQL/PL-SQL and remediating web application vulnerabilities.
