Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and execute engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV, including project execution layout and schedule ownership.
  • •Conduct weekly/bi-weekly meetings, coordinate project status with clients, and maintain workflow and communication across teams.
  • •Apply transmission line design expertise including structure staking, foundations, assembly drawings, loading, procurement, and construction specifications/methods/estimates.
  • •Support Project Manager activities including status reports, scope/schedule/budget development, and out-of-scope variance identification.
  • •Support department needs such as resource forecasting, recruitment efforts, staff performance/technical development, business planning, and travel to client/field/vendor sites as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • •10+ years of relevant transmission engineering experience managing projects and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
  • •Professional Engineering (PE) licensure; engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
  • •Understanding of NESC, RUS, and/or GO-95 plus strong transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD operation.
  • •Experience with Microsoft Office and strong written and oral communication to work effectively with internal and external teams.
