Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a team building and operating large-scale distributed systems, partnering with the Product Manager to enable execution with quality and speed.
  • •Ensure 3+ 9s availability of Dedicated infrastructure, focusing on security, automation, and scalability for multiple tenants.
  • •Provide direction and feedback, enforce DevOps ownership, and ruthlessly automate toil to improve self-service ownership of production.
  • •Recruit, onboard, and develop an excellent, productive team; act as a role model with proof-of-concepts and extreme simplification.
  • •Lead incident management best practices, drive fast resolutions and escalations, and train/codify best practices across GitLab while managing risk and technical debt data-driven.
