Job Summary

Lead finance across the Swedish market with oversight of Norway, partnering with local and regional leaders to drive performance and operational discipline. Own budgeting, forecasting, planning, and commercial reporting for a ~$10m revenue business, translating financial data into actionable insight. Oversee month/quarter/year-end close, ensure compliance and controls, manage audit/tax/statutory reporting, and lead improvements to finance processes and systems while developing the local finance function.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead finance across Sweden and oversee Norway to ensure financial management, governance, and commercial discipline.
•Act as a trusted finance partner to market leadership, providing insight, challenge, and counsel to support business performance and decisions.
•Own budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes aligned to local priorities, regional expectations, and group reporting requirements.
•Provide accurate, timely financial reporting across revenue, profitability, margin, cost management, cash flow, and working capital.
•Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close; ensure integrity of records and controls; lead audit/tax/statutory reporting and advisor relationships; drive finance process improvements and develop the local finance function.

Key Requirements

•Significant experience in senior finance, financial control, Financial Planning & Analysis, or commercial finance roles in professional services, communications, consulting, agency, or a matrixed international environment.
•Strong budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, and performance management experience.
•Good understanding of accounting, controls, audit, tax, and compliance requirements across Sweden (Norway or wider Nordic exposure is advantageous).
•Proven experience partnering with senior leaders to improve financial performance, commercial discipline, and operational decision-making.
•Fluent English is essential; Swedish is highly desirable and Norwegian experience is advantageous.
