Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide end-to-end ownership of quality, coverage, and completeness of the Diagnostics software solution for AMD Client, Graphics, and Embedded.
  • •Define Diagnostics project goals, strategies, risks, and key requirements to support software test planning for PMs, managers, and architects.
  • •Plan and execute system-level feature validation methodology, including multi-IP use cases, system power/performance evaluation, and stress testing.
  • •Own Diagnostics pre-silicon emulation strategy and planning across Simnow, FPGA, and emulation models, including RTL coverage before tape-out and verification requirements before back.
  • •Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to meet milestones and lead resolution of critical technical challenges through debugging, triage, and root-cause analysis support for Diags IP and release engineers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 152,600 - 261,600 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Significant firmware or software development experience with close interaction with hardware or product engineering teams.
  • •Strong understanding of processors based on SoC architecture (processor, system IO, memory, engine IP such as graphics/display/video codec, and security blocks) to guide SoC and IP verification focus.
  • •Strong system-level debugging and testing skills to quickly identify problems and deliver robust solutions.
  • •Strong Linux programming knowledge including device driver, user-space programming, shell scripts, and GCC/Clang toolchains.
  • •BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
