Key Responsibilities

  • •Build RL simulation environments end-to-end, including frontend interfaces, backend services, APIs, data models, and workflows using tools like React/TypeScript, Next.js, Python, and SQLite
  • •Own delivery of simulation environments end-to-end with applied researchers, subject-matter experts, and QA to ensure realism and detect contradictions or suspicious seed data
  • •Maintain and improve internal tooling and platforms by identifying shortcomings and contributing back
  • •Define requirements for environments by thinking critically about task coverage, environment correctness, edge cases, and adversarial agent behavior
  • •Use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, and similar) as a power user and propose extensions or new tooling

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience as a software engineer, full-stack engineer, product engineer, or in a similar role, with a B.Tech/M.Tech/PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • •Own complex products end-to-end from ambiguous requirements through production launch, ideally in a startup or high-velocity team
  • •Hands-on experience with real enterprise SaaS tools (e.g., CRMs, ticketing systems, billing platforms) and understanding how such software behaves over time
  • •Strong engineering judgment around correctness, failure modes, edge cases, and adversarial behavior
  • •Nice to have: experience with reinforcement learning/agent evaluation/verifiers/reward models or ML infrastructure, and/or browser automation (Playwright or Selenium)
