Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the integrated hybrid powertrain verification
  • •Take the systems engineering inputs of a turboshaft / turbogenerator powertrain system including batteries, motors and other complex mechanical parts and verify the system through test
  • •Own the verification of the turbogenerator on the test-bench and into the aircraft including the start of the flight test campaign
  • •Contribute to the design reviews of the turbogenerator in providing expert test and operation knowledge
  • •Manage suppliers, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure verification can happen safely and on time

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 172,000 - 216,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •BS / MS / PhD in a related scientific or engineering field.
  • •10+ years experience in complex system verification.
  • •Ability to operate quickly and to tight timelines in ensuring testing happens on time and can provide sufficient information.
  • •Strong fundamentals and demonstrated understanding of systems engineering.
  • •Experience with industry-standard tools and operational behaviours for turbine and / or electrical systems.
