Job Summary

Design, benchmark, and govern global health and life insurance benefits for Allianz across emerging and high-growth markets. Serve as a global subject matter expert within Rewards & Benefits, partnering with consultancies and external brokers/insurers to translate survey and cost insights into executive recommendations. Drive benefits transformation projects, maintain a global benefits inventory, ensure compliance with local regulations and tax requirements, and align benefit costs with finance planning.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, review, and continuously improve global health and life insurance benefit programmes while aligning with total rewards philosophy and local regulatory requirements.
•Lead cyclical benefits benchmarking with consultancies (Mercer, WTW, Aon), interpreting survey outputs and translating findings into executive-level recommendations.
•Serve as primary subject matter expert for employee benefits across the global HR community, advising HR business partners and local HR teams on design, administration, vendor governance, and compliance.
•Manage relationships with global/regional benefit brokers and insurers, including plan renewals, cost negotiations, and performance reviews.
•Ensure compliance with applicable local legislation, tax regulations, and Allianz Group governance standards; identify regulatory changes and assess impacts on existing benefit structures.

Key Requirements

•Minimum ten years of progressive experience in employee benefits or total rewards, including significant global/multi-country exposure.
•Hands-on experience working with or within leading benefits consultancies such as Mercer, WTW, or Aon at a senior level.
•Expertise in designing, governing, and administering health insurance and life insurance plans across multiple jurisdictions, including India and Asia Pacific.
•Strong benefits benchmarking skills, including commissioning, interpreting, and presenting market survey findings to senior stakeholders.
•Solid understanding of benefit-related regulatory and tax frameworks, particularly within India; knowledge of international benefits governance requirements is a plus.
