Key Responsibilities

  • •Support aviation planning projects across WSP US offices in collaboration with aviation planners, engineers, and project managers.
  • •Perform computer-aided design, calculations, data gathering/presentation, online research, field investigations, and document control.
  • •Conduct quality checks of data and model outputs and review design options for technical and economic impact.
  • •Oversee on-time completion of GCC-assigned tasks to WSP’s expected standards and take ownership of tasks and solutions.
  • •Serve as key point of contact for US offices for modeling design & planning tasks, including clear verbal/written communication and support in writing reports and technical notes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • •8+ years of post-education experience in civil engineering focused on aviation or transportation infrastructure.
  • •Knowledge and familiarity with FAA design standards and aviation-specific criteria (e.g., FAA Advisory Circulars, Engineering Briefs, and airfield design best practices).
  • •Proven ability to work in complex design processes and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
  • •Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel).
