Key Responsibilities

  • •Own overall responsibility and accountability for management, control, and administration of company assets, fiscal, and marketing policies in the Netherlands.
  • •Provide corporate representation and ensure execution of contractual obligations to safeguard legal and commercial interests.
  • •Lead local compliance for all legislation, including aviation requirements, to protect the operation from penalties.
  • •Develop and implement the Netherlands country strategy (sales and marketing, commercial positioning, pricing and distribution, channel development, and customer focus) in coordination with HQ teams.
  • •Monitor market and departmental performance, manage budgets and expenditures, lead and develop local leadership teams, and provide timely insights and recommendations to Head Office.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree (preferably in Business) and a proven track record managing at a senior level.
  • •At least 10 years’ experience as a Senior Manager within the Aviation Industry.
  • •Knowledge of sales, reservations, airport services, and cargo, with commercial acumen and overall knowledge of airline operations.
  • •In-depth ability to formulate strategic plans for air travel, considering key influencing factors.
  • •Clear understanding of Dutch Labour Laws and proven leadership skills; excellent command of Dutch and English, including public speaking.
