Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage a team of software engineers owning Core’s Production Engineering services and tackling broader engineering problems across teams.
  • •Turn loosely defined, complex problems into focused engineering goals and drive delivery while staying close enough to challenge assumptions and trade-offs.
  • •Define Core’s evolving focus, priorities, and next set of reliability-driven problems as projects transition from Reliability Foundations.
  • •Own day-to-day team health by setting clear priorities, coaching engineers directly, and building psychological safety and organizational fluency.
  • •Build reliable services at scale and transform lessons into reusable engineering standards and capability through Core–Embedded feedback loops.

  • •Led software engineers through complex or ambiguous technical work, coaching for growth in autonomy and skill.
  • •Experience in software environments where reliability, scalability, and production risk materially mattered.
  • •Owned technical initiatives end-to-end, including work spanning multiple teams.
  • •Ability to drive adoption of new tools, practices, or ways of working, even amid established approaches.
