Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute the Health Operations automation roadmap aligned with business objectives and KPIs.
  • •Identify, prioritize, and implement automation opportunities across Claims and Medical Approvals processes.
  • •Lead end-to-end automation initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service quality; establish governance, controls, and monitoring frameworks.
  • •Drive operational excellence by increasing Straight Through Processing (STP) rates, reducing manual touchpoints, improving turnaround times (TAT), and optimizing cost per transaction.
  • •Collaborate with Operations, IT, Digital, and Data teams to implement automation solutions, support rules engines/AI-enabled adjudication/workflow automation, run UAT and accuracy monitoring, and use dashboards/business intelligence to generate insights.

Key Requirements

  • •5-8+ years in Health Insurance, TPA, or Healthcare Operations, including minimum 5 years of practical medical insurance experience in an insurer/broker/payer/TPA environment.
  • •Proven experience leading process improvement, automation, or digital transformation initiatives in healthcare operations.
  • •Hands-on experience with automation platforms, RPA solutions, rules engines, and workflow automation technologies.
  • •Advanced proficiency in Power BI and Alteryx, including dashboard development, plus advanced Excel and strong MS Office skills.
  • •Coding certification or demonstrated technical capability in automation technologies; experience with AI-enabled solutions, machine learning, or intelligent automation is highly desirable.
