Key Requirements

  • •Valid US driver’s license.
  • •Experience using FEMA’s Substantial Damage Estimator (SDE) tool to input data in compliance with FEMA protocols.
  • •Ability to generate detailed reports summarizing findings in compliance with FEMA standards (including measurements, photos, sketches, or maps).
  • •Knowledge of National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) regulations, Special Flood Hazard Areas (SFHAs), and floodplain management compliance.
