Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with engineers on AMD discrete and embedded hardware products.
  • •Be responsible for discrete and embedded hardware product work as part of the AMD Hardware team.
  • •Build applications for external and internal use.
  • •Build/enable large-scale systems that improve the efficiency of the Hardware organization.
  • •Participate in the training provided to support hardware software and systems development needs.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently enrolled in a US-based university undergrad program majoring in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Knowledge/experience with technical skills such as C/C++, Verilog, VHDL, Python, Perl, Spice, Ruby, Chrome OS, or MATLAB.
  • •Experience/knowledge in ASIC design and verification.
  • •Experience/knowledge with system/board design, circuit board layout, signal integrity, and power design.
  • •Experience/knowledge in hardware automation, validation and test, and/or UNIX and JTAG tools.
