Key Responsibilities

  • •Draft, negotiate, and interpret contracts with portfolio managers, including investment management agreements, employment agreements, and deeds, plus related onboarding and offboarding matters.
  • •Support fund formation and capital development across launching new investor-facing products, updating fund documents, preparing/reviewing side letters, and maintaining side letter logs.
  • •Negotiate placement agent agreements and assist with investor queries and communications.
  • •Help spearhead strategic transactions, including private equity transactions, loan documents, and regulatory matters.
  • •Partner with internal stakeholders and outside counsel to support portfolio management, investor relations, and capital development goals.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 200,000 - 250,000

Key Requirements

  • •J.D. from an accredited law school and admittance to a state bar.
  • •At least 4-6 years of experience in the investment management/funds practice area.
  • •Superior legal analytical and drafting skills.
  • •Superior organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
